ENG 110 - Freshman Composition: Home

This guide is for use by English 110 students to assist with finding books, articles, and information for developing writing skills as well as giving guidelines for evaluating information, how to cite the information, and avoiding plagiarism.

This course is designed to develop informative and business writing skills. Emphasis is placed on logical organization of writing, including effective introductions and conclusions, precise use of grammar, and appropriate selection and use of sources. Upon completion, students should be able to produce clear, concise, well-organized short papers.

Books - 7 books for 30 days
DVDs - 2 DVDs for one week
Audiobooks - 2 audiobooks for 30 days
Magazines - for use only in the library
